Delta 8 THC is one of the many cannabinoids, or chemicals found in the cannabis plant. Other well known cannabinoids are CBD and Delta 9 THC. Of the cannabis plant there are two different types that grow. The first is hemp, which refers to any cannabis plant that contains less than .3% Delta 9 THC. Delta 9 THC is another cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. The other type of cannabis plant is one that contains OVER .3% Delta 9 THC, referred to as marijuana or weed and is federally illegal. (legalized in CA, or CO). Delta 8 THC occurs in the cannabis flower in very small quantities and is created when Delta 8 THC goes through an oxidation process. Since it occurs in low concentrations, a specialized extraction method is used to produce Delta 8 THC hemp extract. Delta 8 THC (Δ8-THC) is federally legal and possesses less psychotropic properties than Delta 9 THC.

How can we sell it?

When the 2018 Farm Bill was passed in 2018 it legalized hemp and cannabinoids derived from hemp. We extract from hemp plants, the form of cannabis that contains below .3% Delta 9 THC. By deriving our products from hemp plants, it makes everything under .3% of Delta 9 federally legal (illegal in: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, Rhode Island, and Utah).
