Hi! I’m so glad you are here. My name is Lisa Carreiro. I am a former elementary education teacher turned stay at home mom.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education and my Master’s Degree in curriculum and teaching.

I have been happily married to my husband for 7 years. We have 3 children and a Great Dane. We currently have a 5 year old, a 3 year old, and a 16 month old.

This page is to share my humble adventures as a homeschool mom as well as to create and share ideas and resources with you all.

I believe in Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of how children learn in their early years. My unit studies will have a gentle approach that will encourage curiosity and exploration. The units will be primarily geared towards the ages of 3-5. Although, younger and older children will be able to benefit from pieces of the curriculum.

It is my hope that I will be able to help other moms like myself slow down and make their life a little easier during a crazy time in the world right now.
