This site might be a blog, it might have links to things I find interesting or important. It may change like the wind because that’s how my brain flows on a day-to-day basis. I’m not quite sure what it is yet but I like it.

I hope to start writing more “about me” as we go along but you can read a few things about me through each page on this site.

Do you love reading? I do and I signed up for a library card in my city so I can check out books just like I did when I was a kiddo. Only now, we have ebooks! Hooray! Even though I love the smell and feel of a hard copy, I love the convenience of reading on the go anytime I want, even if I don’t have access to the physical pages. Yoga with Adriene

Adriene Mishler is really a godsend for the work she shares with the world on YouTube. Yoga with Adriene is an efficient way to stay at home and get your zen sweat on at no cost (unless you choose to sign up for her FWFGLife App subscriptions for extra guided practices). She saved me during quarantine winter for sure!

Each month, Adriene curates a new yoga training program with a daily video guide to the practice. So grab your mat, your block, some candles, and check out the “Yoga with Adriene” Youtube channel to get a relaxing exercise in for the body, mind, & spirit. (Relaxing exercise is kind of an oxymoron though, amirite? 😅)

Bonnaroo is my favorite place to escape the mundane each and every year that I’m able to attend. I could talk about the place for days. Something about this specific large gathering is special. There’s nothing like dancing & sweating to some good live music with 80k-100k stranger-friends in the hot Tennessee sunshine in the middle of nowhere for 4 days. Bring your sunscreen, bring your water—and maybe an EZ-up..and prepare to have your life changed for the better. No one is ever the same after a trip to “The Farm”. 🌈💖✨🥳🌞

Plant-Based Life

When I’m on track, I eat more plants than animals. I always feel better. My longest streak was about a year. I aspire to get back to it again. In the meantime, I’ve developed more skills for making plant-based and vegan meals so I don’t eat meat that often. Dairy is a whole other story. I did give it up for a long time and after awhile I missed it less and less. But I fell off the wagon and got hooked to the casein once again. Alas... I gotta get off the cow’s milk someday. It’s an addiction that makes me sad cause the industry is so cruel. Some of my favorite alternative milks are Oatly and Simply Almond. Hemp milk is good for cooking savory dishes. Eat whatever makes YOU feel good at the end of the day. 😀
