Beforehand I have to provide some personal advice, and I suggest you take it. Absolutely anything you find be it a practice or diet or philosophy, is not right for you. In fact it isn’t even close to being what you have a capacity and responsibility to create for yourself; what you genuinely deserve. Imagine you can bake a magical cheesecake, in which ONLY you are able to experience. Regardless of how many pieces you cut, anyone but you will look at a full untouched cheesecake. Maybe it looks like shit, and maybe they would kill to try a piece, either way the texture and flavour and inner colour is only known to you. An incomplete projection of that truth can be shared with those you choose to inform, but the only cheesecake they can experience is the one they’ve made themselves. How you choose to display it or decorate it is completely up to you, all that matters is that the whole is right for you. The cheesecake is your habits, your practices, your rituals. Anyone with one of these knows that if an ignorant observer were to watch what you’ve created for yourself, they will only know curiosity, confusion, jealousy, or something of the sort. The same is true for the ignorant observer that is you, and me. Because the freedom to create experience happens between the delivery of a message and it’s reception to your perception. That is where the real fruit of the matter lies. So with that being said, to accept another’s teachings blindly, or an imitation attempt, will leave you living in a house with severely incomplete walls and floors. It’s wise to learn from the infrastructure of another, but to copy their construction plans is near impossible. Not to mention you’ll be living in someone else’s home. So take what truths align with your own, and fill in the rest with what’s better
