A Little Bit About Me
Hi, I’m glad you’re here
My name is Journey. I’m a 22 year old, stay-at-home mama to my 2 handsome boys Jeremiah and Isaiah 💙💙 They are home birthed, unvaccinated, and might I add... extremely healthy! You won’t see me post any pictures with their face in them, for the simple reasoning that I want to respect their privacy on social media until they can make that decision for themselves. 😊 I’m engaged to my best friend and love of my life, Jayden. We have been together for almost 4 years now. I’m thankful for everything that he is. 🥰
In 2018 (when I found out I was pregnant with my oldest) I started doing my own research, and in 2019 I started posting controversially on social media, and I found a lot of like-minded friends because of it!
I would say I’m on a learning path right now. So expect this to become an information dump of things I have become passionate about over the last couple years. Whether that be about vaccines, motherhood, self-care, mindfulness, or anything that peaks my interest really
Thank you for following me and being apart of my journey. 💓

Home Birth is an Incredible Option!
I absolutely LOVED both of my home birth experiences! Unfortunately, I wasn’t as mentally equipped for the pain of contractions with my first birth like I was with my second birth. Once I started feeling the strong waves I would go straight into panic mode. I definitely allowed fear’s grip to take hold of my birthing atmosphere. It was the longest 22 & 1/2 hours of my life! But I persevered, and the results of my hard work were definitely worth it!
My second birth was such a different experience though. It was so peaceful and calming. I labored for 16 & 1/2 hours, but it wasn’t until I had transitioned and my water breaking that I actually considered the contractions to be painful. The biggest things I changed were my breathing techniques; instead of fighting my body I worked with it. It told me what to do, and what position I’d feel most comfortable in at different stages of labor. I also took the time to make my birthing space as peaceful as possible. We had blackout curtains for the bedroom, dim lights, a calming affirmation video playing softly in the background, I also had several home-made affirmations hanging up all around me as a reminder to me of what an incredible job my body and baby were doing. It was complete BLISS for me. I was in my own little world, and to this day, it truly doesn’t feel like it was an all day long experience!
Both of my boys were born safely and healthy. But the best part about both experiences: it was in the comfort of my own home, unbothered and no intervention. 💓
