Watercolor Workshops for birthdays, relaxing and learning

Friends, family, mothers and daughters, come and join a special time together while painting in watercolors. This can be applied to friends enjoying eachothers company or to enlighten your birthday. From young to old, all are welcome. No experience needed.

I am Liselle van der Merwe a watercolorist. My passion is not just to paint beautiful botanical, flowers, birds etc... But also to teach others the basics of watercolor painting. And most of all to enjoy while painting, and discover their creativity!

This is also a wonderful way to celebrate your birthday, a watercolor painting as a present, or a watercolor workshop to make a beautiful memory together...

What you will learn:
I love to teach you how to apply the wet on wet technique, with watercolors. This is such a good technique to relax , and to let the watercolors flow into beautiful colours, forms and textures.

You will also learn colour values etc.

And also to relax and enjoy. And your imperfection is your perfection.

Birthday's are always so special to me. I like to really go out of my way to make it personal and according to your theme and wishes.

I love to use a frame with all your friends beautiful pictures that they have painted for you. And that can be applied from young to old. (In a workshop setting)

Watercolor beginners workshop, no experience needed.

In this workshops, you will learn the basic wet on wet technique. Color values etc. You will have a time to exercise this technique, and then to execute on an already outlined paper. After you have painted your beautiful picture, you also will receive a glassframe, to frame your work.

What a wonderful way to celebrate your birthday. What makes it really special. I do a line drawing according to the theme of one's birthday. With this workshop everyone will learn the wet on wet technique, paint a line drawing for the birthday girl or boy, and for themselves to frame. At the end the birthday girl/boy will have a beautiful frame, full of memories of each person that attended their birthday, with a special note, that they wrote personally on their painting.
