The NABJ Political Task Force was formed in 2010 to provide support to and programming for Black journalists who cover government and politics at the local, state, and national levels.
The primary goal of the Task Force is to widen the pipeline of Black political journalists by providing networking opportunities, training and mentoring year-round. The Task Force also engages with media outlets to facilitate the hiring of Black reporters to these important roles.
