About

I’m Natalie, a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and mama x5, guiding women and their families down the path to optimum health. through bio-individuality, nutrition, movement, and lifestyle coaching.

I teach women how to take back their health and simplify their nutrition as well as their families in order to live a more vibrant life together.

My story is similar to many of yours. I ate what seemed “healthy” but found myself battling fatigue, hormone imbalance, brain fog, and chronic colds. This was consistent throughout my family.

Frustrated with the standard of traditional health care and hearing that the things that plagued us were “normal”, lead me to learn that just because something is common, does not mean it’s normal. This began my journey towards optimal health.

I believe that when women are well the world is well. A healthy family starts with nourishing mama.

My Top Reads for Pregnancy and Postpartum

Real Food for Pregnancy by Lily Nichols

This is the most comprehensive and no BS nutrition book for pregnancy and postpartum. If you are wanting to get pregnant I would get a jump start and read this first and begin implementing her dietary recommendations.

The Mama Natural Week by Week guide to Pregnacy & Childbirth

This is a great resource and fun week by week guide. I had fun making it my weekly ritual to read the new chapter each week. It’s a non-judgy lay all the options out there guide to pregnancy and childbirth.

Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth

This is THE book everyone must read to prepare for childbirth. It absolutely changed my entire experience reading this book. I have read it 3-4 times now! It’s a combination of midwifery wisdom and real life birth stories.

The First Forty Days

This is a beautiful book/guide on how to care for the new mother in the first forty days postpartum. I love the ancestral wisdom and history and that every culture had a unique way of caring for the new mother. I found this book helpful fo prepare for postpartum. It also has really great recipes for the new mama.

The Fourth Trimester

A guide to postpartum care and the importance of the fourth trimester. This is a great gift for new mamas and a good read for immediately prior to birth or in those first early days for the “sitting in” period.
