Hi! I’m Kristin, founder of Neon. I have been licensed in cosmetology since 2010. After working in hair & makeup for many years I found my true passion in the nail industry. One thing I could never live without was my nails. No matter what, I always had to have them done. I love the feeling of a fresh set & the way I am able to express myself thru the art I have on my nails & knew that was something I wanted to share with others. That’s how I fell in love with being a nail artist!
My favorite service is long gel x with lots of nail art! I really love the way a long set of nails changes up your whole attitude. Everything you do afterwards is just a little more boujie.
My goal is to provide outstanding service while building genuine connections with my clients. I always want the studio to be a safe & fun environment for everyone who enters it. Getting to do dope art is just the icing on the cake!

Hi, I’m Katherine. To be honest, I never imagined I’d become a nail artist. I went to college thinking that was “just what I was supposed to do”. After I graduated I moved abroad and taught English as a second language in Spain for nearly a decade. Once I returned to the US I became an interpreter for Spanish and English. Fast forward a few years later, the pandemic hit and I knew I wasn’t happy where I was in my career and that something had to change. With a little bit of faith and a lot of convincing and encouragement from my sister Kristin, I signed up for nail school. I was supposed to begin classes in the summer but ended up getting in to the program that same winter and I truly believe that it all worked out that way for a reason. I graduated from Shear Ego International School, got my license and never looked back. I do really miss the patients I interpreted for but now I see that I can still help people in other meaningful ways. I love all the beautiful clients I’ve met along the way; how I get to bond and really connect with them and help them feel good about themselves. Last but not least, I love seeing how my clients’s faces light up and how their whole vibe changes when they leave with a fresh set of nails. I will be forever grateful to my sister who pushed me and encouraged me to keep going and guided me through every step of this journey.
