A note from the creator -

New Roots was created with the ultimate goal of bringing more than just “another salon” full of hairstylists to downtown Watertown. It was created to be a rad little space full of true artists.
The ones who create and inspire, the ones who are unapologetically themselves, the ones who don’t judge, the ones who are just straight up cool, kind and creative - constantly learning and evolving with the industry.
A laid back and cool space where guests feel safe, loved and heard. Where they can get away from it all for a little while and leave feeling like the beat version of themselves. A fun space where we can get a little weird but keep it real 💯

Hey, I’m Leah! I grew up right here in Watertown, NY, where I created this cool little salon space, New Roots. I’ve been in this industry for 12 years and specialize in blonding and lived in/dimensional color. I’m so passionate about staying up to date on the newest trends and styles and am committed to always providing my guests with the best salon experience!

When I’m not behind the chair, I’m likely planning my “next big thing”, from vacations to new salon happenings to parties or drinks with the girls, I just love to keep myself busy!
