Believe it or not, I don’t recommend that EVERY business utilize a social media manager and because we only work with so many brands, we are selective about which ones we work with to be sure it is a mutually sound decision. After all, this is hopefully a long term partnership/ relationship and we want to make sure we vibe, share the same vision and that we both have the ability, time and tools to get you to your goals!

Some things I recommend a business ask themselves when determining if they should hire a social media manager and if they are ready to do so:

1. Are you ready to commit?

Social Media Management is a long game so it’s important that a client is ready to commit and invest in their social media to get the most juice from the squeeze! This is a decision that you should weigh and make sure this is something you can commit to for a minimum of 6 months to a year ( we hope to work with you a lot longer than that and once you start feeling the benefits are sure you will!).

2. What are your Expectations with hiring a social media manager?

If you are hiring a social media manager simply to go viral or to reach x amount of followers, your partnership with your social media manager may not meet the expectations you had hoped for. Ensuring that your goals on social media align with what your social media manager can offer, is VITAL. Goals such as growing your audience, staying in front of your referral network, growing a targeted audience, building relationships with your community, creating a brand etc. are the kind of language we speak and love to help you get there.

3. Do you have the time?
