I find sanity in my ability to create & capture

I’m a self-taught artist who create acrylic paintings that usually features the bare human figure among others.

I’m inspired by my own experiences, my thoughts and observations on issues such as femininity, gender equity, mental health, societal and environmental struggles.

I've always had a compelling urge to create and not just to create but the ability to create my truth and also let my paintings create an intriguing physical and emotional connection between the subjects and the viewer, giving the viewer a glimpse in the lives and distress of others.

I mostly paint bare human figures cause' I believe in that form lies our flaws, pain, pride, shame, fear, happiness, sadness, genuine love and peace. My paintings are intended to evoke ineffable emotions.

I paint my reality, I say: that includes telling stories of the struggles behind (our) inner doors, depiction of (our) vulnerability and weakness behind the smile (we) put on in the day.

Bare Comfort

This is a piece that depicts the state of a loner. Being alone is her comfort zone.

Tranquility

For her to create a safe and peaceful space for her heart is by caging herself from the noise of the world.

Untitled

Just a piece I felt compelled to paint. The body of a woman is undoubtedly a work of art.

Joker

He was never the monster to me, cause’ every deed is backed by a cause. And I say, society is the curator of psychopaths and sociopaths.
