Autism Spectrum Disorder & Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

The decisive role nutrients play.

Nutrients are involved in the production and function of our brain chemicals. Our brain chemicals, otherwise known as ‘neurotransmitters’ are responsible for thinking, feeling, moving, playing and learning.

This is why it makes sense that nutrient deficiency or excess can play a huge role in our emotions, motor control, communication, cognition & social capacity.

NUTRITION FOR ADHD

Group Education Session

A child with ADHD has unique nutrient requirements, and we know that nutrient deficiencies and excess can cause imbalances in a child's brain and undesirable behaviours.

This session is focusing on how families can support their child's unique requirements with dietary changes & nutrient therapy. This therapy can complement medication use, although is targeted at correcting nutrient imbalances with an aim of minimising the need for, or improve the effectiveness of medication.
