Hey there! I’m Amy, the Founder & Head Nutrition Coach here at Nocturnal Nutrition.
Who we are
As a frontline police officer, I understand the unique challenges and struggles that come with working in a high-pressure environment and doing shift-work. The lack of routine, unpredictable shifts, the stupid amounts of stress, sleep deprivation, all the fun stuff that comes with the job. I get it because I’ve been there, I’ve lived through that shit.
I became a nutrition coach after seeing the effects that good nutrition can have. I used to be that burnt-out, stressed girl who would fall asleep halfway through shift because she hadn’t slept after the last nightshift. It’s not fun. I started working with a nutrition coach and my health did a complete 180.
In early 2019, I completed my Level 1 Nutrition Coach certification with Precision Nutrition, a recognised world leader in nutrition and coach education.
I’m passionate about helping emergency services workers eat better, sleep better and ultimately, feel better. It might seem impossible, especially if you feel like the last time you had a decent day’s sleep on nightshift was seventy billion years ago, but I promise that it is possible to live a balanced life while working shifts.
Let me show you how.
