My Bullying Story

Bullying has always been a huge part of my life. It all started when I was in 5th grade and I stepped foot onto the school bus. I was instantly called fat. I went home and then told my parents what had happened, from then on my mom took me and picked me up from school everyday.
I remember dreading PE class because I would have to work out in front of people and I was extremely nervous I would be made fun of again.
There was a time in middle school when this boy put a note in my hoodie that was a stick figure that was fat. I remember crying in the bathroom that day.
It wasn’t until my sophomore year that I knew that I chose my attitude everyday. I realized that when I looked good, I felt good! This was my life everyday scared of what I would hear about myself each day walking into school. I told my parents I was being extremely bullied and wanted to talk to a councilor about what was happening to me. I am so grateful I did because he helped me so much to know what I do today. I am very passionate about anti-bullying because everyone deserves to know what it feels like to be loved and feel loved. Everyone should feel worthy.
