Our Story

NO LABEL, ONLY LOVE

What is Asian-American fashion? 🧐

We collaborate with a select group of Asian-American artists to provide you a selection of our latest apparel designs. Can fashion be fun, interactive, and political? ✨ What does Asian-American fashion look like? ✨ How do we aestheticize our history and culture? ✨ We want to answer these questions through the imagery and messages printed on our shirts. This year, we are collaborating with Anna Zheng to release our first product: the “Don’t Punch Me Fortune” t-shirt in response to the anti-Asian hate crimes in the wake of COVID-19. 👊💪

We are also all about giving back to our community, so as part of our charity program, between xx to xx% of the net proceeds will go to a social cause related to the current theme of our released line. We aspire to be as conscious and ethical of an apparel brand as possible. Our current t-shirts are fair trade and made of 100% organic fabrics. 🌱

MEET THE TEAM 👋

JESSICA NGUYEN

After few years’ worth of traveling around the world, Jessica returned to her home in the U.S. during the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. Shocked by the increase in anti-Asian hate crimes in her home country, she realize that change needed to be made. In hopes of working alongside two of her greatest passions in life - fashion and social activism, Jessica founded NO LABEL, ONLY LOVE, a fair-trade, environmentally-friendly clothing line that spreads the messages of Asian-American activist community. As the creative director of NLOL, she is in charge the ideas, marketing, and branding.

MEET THE TEAM 👋

ANNA ZHENG

Anna is an empathetic listener, human-centered designer, students-first educator, and entrepreneur building tools and sharing experiential knowledge to share the power of community. They've led workshops, design jams, and presentations on: freelancing, negotiating as a womxn of color, self-care in the gig-economy, counter-narrative storytelling, and much more. They are driven to challenge who we include in the design process, why we need to think critically about the consequences of design decisions, and how we can design and develop accessible and positively impactful systems, structures, and technology for a more equitable future.
