We use art to show the local toll of femicide. It’s a global problem and that means it’s an Aotearoa problem too.

The first report will be released publicly on 24/11/22. This will be in time for media and memorials on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

1. That men and boys throughout Aotearoa New Zealand immediately refrain from killing women and girls.

2. That the regular killing of women and
girls by men in Aotearoa New Zealand is recognised by the government, police, media establishment as part of a global, preventable issue: Femicide.

3. That men and boys throughout Aotearoa New Zealand take responsibility for finding and sharing ways to manage their emotions which will not result in women’s lives lost.
