Hi everyone!

i signed up for the Befriending with nEbO event! it requires me to spend my Saturdays to come and spend time with the seniors in the nursing home.

Basically, this event was a 4-week befriending session with the seniors from various nursing homes. I was splited into groups of 2 and was in this group for the whole 4 weeks! We were given a programme schedule to conduct for the room which was Room 3 🤍 little did we know, they were senior with disabilities which makes it abit hard to interact with them but to ease the conversations, there was a nurse on stand by to help us communicate with the elderly through zoom every session. undeniably, the sessions was fun ! we had introduction sessions of getting-to-know one another, sing alongs, exercising sessions and etcs. it was a blessing seeing their smile as they were excited to meet us and the fact they remembered us 🥺🥺 *heart melts* truly a memorable journey<3 definitely unforgettable!

it taught me to be more empathetic towards others & it made me realise how fortunate i am to have people who dearly care for me around me! some may have tougher hardships than me which reminds me to always be grateful with what i have now ❤️
