I am Monique, your expert English trainer.

I grew up in Jakarta & Vancouver, Canada, graduated from University of British Columbia, and certified by Cambridge as an ESL teacher. I was also an official IELTS examiner for almost 6 years before resigning to spend more time with my family.

In my spare time I enjoy watching cooking videos on Youtube (though I've only tried not even a third of the recipes), eating fudgy brownies and currently am super into self development.

After 15 years of teaching English as a Second Language at various institutions, meeting thousands of students in universities or employees who are looking to improve themselves through scholarships, I realize that I want academic English to be more accessible to others.

O English is created as part of my dream to have an online learning platform where I can help more Indonesians to be more competitive, more ready to enter the global work force and create amazing things for the country.
