About
Hello, I’m Lisa
Photography has been a passion of mine since my first nephew was born and I started taking family pictures. When that nephew became a high school Senior, I realized I really had fun photographing young adults who are about to enter the world of adulthood and began focusing on this genre of photography.
Think of me as your cool Aunt with a camera, who will ask you to fake laugh and pose in ways that will feel silly but will look awesome!
I can’t wait to meet you!

Getting reading for your session
Be You
Pick clothing and shoes that represent YOU, not what what you think you should wear. In 20 years when you look back on your images you don’t want to ask “what was I thinking?!.” If you feel uncomfortable in your attire, it will come across in your images and we don’t want that. It’s okay to go glam and dress up, by all means, just be sure you will recognize yourself.
Prepare your skin
Drink lots of water so your skin isn’t dry. Get good sleep. Put lotion on any skin that will be seen, including your feet and especially knees/elbows.
Fellas - be clean shaven or trim your facial hair. Don’t overlook hydration..dry skin doesn’t look good on anyone.
Prepare Your Clothes
Iron your clothes and use hangars to bring them to your session. Wrinkles are not easy to edit out, especially if there are many and they are deep, and may incur an additional editing fee.
Pay Attention to your Nails
Two rules:
1.) Full nail polish - preferably a fresh mani/pedi.
OR
2.) Clean and polish free. Please no chipped nail polish, it’s awkward to hide chipped fingernails. Don’t forget to file or clip nails too.
Hair and Makeup
Whether you do your own hair and makeup or hire a professional, just be you.
If you are not used to fake lashes but want them for your session, please don’t let your session be the first time you wear them. If you decide against fake lashes, please just wear extra coats of mascara to help your lashes stand out.
Wear heavier makeup than you would normally, so you aren’t washed out in camera.
No glittery/sparkly makeup. Matte makeup is best. If you want some sparkle, keep it to your eyelids and make sure it hasn’t fallen to the skin around your eyes.
Please don’t wear SPF that day.
Don’t get a fake tan unless you do this normally. Adjusting your skin tone in each image if you are too dark or orange will incur an additional fee, as these edits are outside of my normal process.
We will be outside and can’t control the wind, if you will wear your hair up, please bring extra pins if we need to fix your hair.
Clean Your Shoes
Tennis shoes should be as clean as possible, and heals be without built up dirt .
Bring with You
1. Comfy, slip on, shoes to walk around in. If you walk in heels that are pinching, you won’t be comfortable in your pose and it will reflect in the final image.
2. Water. Posing for the camera is hard work and you will get thirsty, especially if the temp is warm.
3. Bring blotting tissue or a towel to remove “glistening.”
4. Bring your lipstick, blush, and powder for touch ups.
5. Bring a friend/family member who can play assistant. Having an extra set of eyes to help make sure your hair is in place, your jewelry is straight and to help hold my reflector is very much appreciated.
