My name is Morẹ́nikéjì Akínnúsì Olówóyọtán and I am many things.

By profession, I am a Yorùbá Linguist and Marketing Communications Writer with 4+ years of experience in content/copy writing. I have worked with top brands to develop and execute leading consumer-driven campaigns.

I am also a Master of Arts in Yorùbá Literature from the University of Lagos State, Nigeria, with research experience in African Feminism in contemporary female-authored Yorùbá literature.

Out of many other favourite things (writing, reading, cooking, singing, praying), my most favourite thing in the whole world is silence. But, I live in Nigeria, so, go figure.

Most of all, I love to play with words and consciously change the attitude of millennials towards Yorùbá language and culture with my brand, One Yorùbá Girl.
