sakinaa (they/she) is a black femme muslim raised in the south residing on lenape and nanticoke lands.

they are interested in exploring liberatory and healing practices rooted in black feminism, abolition, liberation theology, and love.

in the fall, they will be pursuing a master’s degree in social work, insha'Allah.

they are committed to an abolitionist social work practice and is interested in working with young people, marginalized genders, and survivors of violence using transformative and healing justice practices.
