Pixie Bennett has entertained live audiences sprinkled all over the world, with soulful on-stage presence and the ability to engage nostalgia within music lovers and party people. 

With her roots in the club scene from 2002, as a freestyle vocalist, she has played to underground audiences in the UK, Turkey, Malawi, Switzerland, Seychelles, Italy, Spain, and throughout South Africa.

As a Top 7 finalist in the reality TV series IDOLS, she broke into the South African market over a decade ago in 2009. From there she took on the role of the frontwoman of The Pixie Bennett Band, performing on the festival and corporate circuit within SA, sharing the stages with top local talent before she then left to follow a solo career.

Gaining recognition in both the Afro House and Pop Rock cultures, several singles charted on commercial radio locally.

With a hit Afro House track, “City Lights” produced by DJ Whiskey, she released through Soul Candi Records on their 10-year anniversary compilation.

“Shapeshifter” produced by UltraTone was later signed by the label, and Universal Music Records released her full-length album produced by the late Craig Massiv.

After a musical sabbatical, she launched the single Synchronise. An Afro Deep House collaboration track, which includes a remix by the legendary house band Studio Apartment (Tokyo).

Her full album "A Thousand Paper Birds" is no longer available online, with the vision of a future release as an acoustic project.
