I’m Lauren

I love capturing the natural movement of people, not poses. I believe it’s my job as a photographer to photograph people as they interact with their world and let them tell the story, not me. I offer documentary-style portrait sessions in North Central Florida. My personal editing style reflects the characteristics of certain film stocks, specifically Kodak Portra, Kodak Gold, and Fuji 400H.

In private editing, my goal is to replicate each photographer’s editing style so that their images flow seamlessly together and their consistency is elevated. (I am fully booked for the remainder of 2019 - please inquire in January 2020 for private editing services for 2020)

Learning how to take pictures has been one of my greatest joys, though I often wished for help in my early years. So. Many. Settings. And there are fractions?! I love helping new photographers navigate their cameras and teaching all about exposure and the nitty gritty of editing, so I offer one-on-one learning sessions in North Central Florida to new DSLR/SLR owners and amateur photographers.
