About Dr. T
Dr. NyThea C. Tolbert excels in forming and cultivating professional partnerships in P-12 & Higher Education. With more than 15 years of experience that spans across corporate and academic platforms, she has a unique skill in understanding the strategic and operational requirements of both sectors. Dr. Tolbert’s career has spearheaded the development and facilitation of professional development and brandinworkshops for students in higher education. Her professional training was cultivated with Starbucks Corporation, Merial Limited, Morehouse School of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine, and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. She recently served as a Pre-Health Advisor in the Health Careers Program & Clinical Educator at Spelman College, and she currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Public Health Sciences Institute at Morehouse College.
Dr. Tolbert understands the importance of personal and professional branding and the influence of generational characteristics in the workplace which is highlighted in her research which focuses on experiential services and emotional intelligence offerings for the enhancement of higher education curricula and employability of students. Additionally, her work contributes to the development of effective programming in preparing underrepresented minorities for careers in healthcare while maintaining proper health and wellness.
