I am a Creator

I am made up of games & coffee

I've always loved games. As a kid, I would spend hours lost in my own little worlds, making up rules and storylines as I went along. I loved the feeling of being transported to another place, of being someone & somewhere else entirely. I couldn't wait to create my own worlds. I was so excited by it all.

Games are such immersive experiences. They can transport you to new and wonderful places. I love exploring both the gameplay and the narrative aspects of games. I think it is important to have a balance of both, but I always put the player experience in forefront. It helps to design player-centric games that are both fun and comfortable to play.

This is my friend, we were doing the photoshoot of previous photo you saw :D (I don't smoke)

I sacrificed comfort and fun early in my life in order to learn everything I could about game
production. I explored all the different verticals and learnt as much as I could. I did whatever was necessary for the projects I worked on.

Also, the programmer in me hates doing repetitive tasks. So, I learnt how to generate content automatically. This means I can spend more time on the creative aspects of game design. It's this combination of creativity and technical know-how that I think makes me a good game designer.

I'm always striving to create the best possible experience for players. I want them to lose themselves in my worlds and to have the time of their lives. That's what games are all about for me.

My Top Picks

Worked multi-disciplinary on these projects

  1. Total Maze Survival

    Total Maze Survival

Online 2 player, Survival, Horror game. Game Designer + Programmer. Made in 4 days.

Procedural room and hallway generation. Two player game, you either play as the survivor or the killer. Survivor must escape the dungeon by finding 6 pages & killer has to find the survivor and kill him before he escapes. This game got picked up really quickly. A lot of Youtubers covered it plus it was #1 hottest on that platform for a week. There were 30k unique players. You can read the comments to get an idea.

  2. Photosynthesis

    Photosynthesis

A plant-life simulator where you go through struggles of growing from a seedling to a matured tree. Made for CFN game jam in 3 days. Game Designer, Producer and Programmer.

    Game Summary -
The game is literally about “Photosynthesis” – it simulates the process of Photosynthesis in plants. That is, plants need Food to grow, to generate Food they need Water and a Light Source. You go about absorbing water from puddles on the ground and standing beneath light to generate Food. Water depletes as Food generates. Once you have enough Food you grow into the next stage. Game has a day-night cycle. In the night more pests attack and there's no light so you have to prepare for the night as well as stand beneath street lamps to generate Food.

  3. Anibals - Choose your Champion

    Anibals - Choose your Champion

Online Multiplayer, Fast Paced, Class Based Sports game. Designer, Programmer, Artist (everything).

    Game Summary -
This game was made to satisfy my urge to play a Frankenstein of Overwatch + Quidditch + Football. The fast pace and class base mechanics of Overwatch + the dynamism of Overwatch + but the seriousness and skill of Football = Anibals. Game also has 3 different balls and gave different rules to each and scores different points, just like Quidditch. Three classes Attacker, Defender, and Goalkeeper.

  4. Fault In Our Stars

    Fault In Our Stars

2D Adventure Side Scroller. Designer & Programmer.

    Game Summary -
Go around in the town speaking to beautiful ladies and asking few out. If you've asked a wrong girl out, you lose a heart, but a correct girl gives you a SMOOCH!
You’re handsome looking guy who is assigned a particular Zodiac at the start of the game and given a brief about your own Zodiac and which Zodiacs are compatible with you and their traits. Goal of the game is to go around in the town speaking to ladies (conversation) and understanding based on the conversation and questions you chose their zodiac. Then finally asking them out. If you ask out a wrong person, she gets angry and you lose a heart (pun intended), if you ask the right one you get Smooched. Being Smooched thrice gets you a victory
