What can I do, if I have problems
swallowing the capsules?
Besides the tasty alternative called Juice
PLUS+ Soft Chewables, you can take the
Juice PLUS+ powder without the capsule
shell. This requires to pull the two parts of
the capsule apart and to pour the powder
in the meal of your choice (e.g. yoghurt).
Liquids are less suitable to be mixed with
the powder than solid or semisolid food.

Of course, Juice PLUS+ is suitable and
safe before, during and after pregnancy.
During pregnancy there’s an increased
demand for certain nutrients. For instance,
the demand for folic acid is increased until
the second trimester to reduce the risk of a
neural tube defect. Consequently the
supplementation of folic acid is generally
recommended during pregnancy.
The consumption of 2 + 2 + 2 Juice PLUS+
capsules Fruit-, Vegetable- and Berry
Blend provides 400 µg folic acid. This
corresponds precisely with the amount
recommended to be supplemented before
and during pregnancy. There is no
requirement to use an additional folic acid
supplement. To clarify whether it is
necessary to supplement additional
nutrients such as iron and iodine, or to end
using a supplement you use in parallel,
please consult your gynecologist.
