Renaissance Jeffersonville

What’s going on on Main Street?

You might notice things are looking a little bit different on South Main Street in Jeffersonville. What’s going on? What’s this Renaissance Jeffersonville project?

Renaissance Jeffersonville, is a dynamic revitalization group dedicated to transforming and growing the village of Jeffersonville, located just 30 minutes south of Columbus. Our mission is to develop, plan, and breathe new life into the heart of our community, creating a vibrant and cohesive downtown area that serves both our current residents and those who will soon join us.

With the exciting development of a brand-new $4 billion EV battery plant by Honda and LG, slated to open in 2025 just 1.5 miles away, Jeffersonville is on the brink of significant growth. This state-of-the-art facility will create over 2,200 jobs, attracting a wave of new residents eager to live near their workplace.

The property owners currently involved, Joel Oney and Chris Shea, have a special interest in affordable housing and redevelopment. J Money and Shea Group plan to restore these properties to their original beauty and get Jeffersonville back on its feet.
Chris Sin and Lisa Park recently joined the movement when they opened Joomak, a restaurant specializing in Korean cuisine, in downtown Jeffersonville.

We aim to create a connected community rich with amenities, where locals have more to do and can enjoy a thriving, vibrant downtown. By fostering a supportive environment for businesses and enhancing the quality of life for residents, we envision Jeffersonville as a place where people not only work but also love to live.

Join us in this exciting journey as we work together to make Jeffersonville a premier destination, blending the charm of a small village with the opportunities of a booming economic hub. Live where you work, and love where you live with Renaissance Jeffersonville!
