Resolute Mom Wellness Co.

Fit Mama Community

Hi there, I am so glad you are here friend!

I’m Brianna Johnson, certified barre fitness instructor, Marine Veteran, and mother of four little girls. My passion for fitness and wellness has grown since becoming a mother, it’s part of the reason I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Alternative medicine after serving my country. I personally know being a mom myself, how hard it can be to find time and motivation for my own self-care. I also know how it feels being a stay at home mom; it can be lonely and isolating at times, and it can be hard to make friends and find a supportive community of other moms to interact with. That was my driving force behind how the idea to build a wellness community specifically for moms came to be. I know how it feels to feel lonely in motherhood, an incredible blessing but one that comes with a lot of changes that often bring feelings we never expected to experience, and I want to ensure other moms like me get the support and community of mom friends that we all desperately need.

So get ready for an upbeat workout that uses body weight, as well and light weights. Barre is blend of various movements derived from ballet, yoga and Pilates. Barre uses micro movements to tone and tighten, improve strength, endurance, and flexibility. No dance or barre required.
You will never do the same workout twice, and, the music is always upbeat.

Bring your little ones along with you to class, strollers are a perfect workout prop for babies and toddlers, and I incorporate things to keep them entertained while we workout. For anyone with older children, or homeschool kiddos, I encourage you to bring things for them to do such as side walk chalk, coloring books, or play with the other kids who come to class. If you must bring an animal please keep it on a leash at all times.

Please bring your own yoga mat, light to medium weights, 2-3 lbs beginner/intermediate, 5-10 lbs intermediate to advanced.

Motherhood Fitness Tribe

More than just a workout, it’s a sisterhood

No matter what part of your motherhood journey you’re in we are glad to have you here. Our community encourages mothers to come together to get to know other moms, become friends, and build relationships. We are moms supporting other moms, empowering each other to reach our goals as mothers together.

Each month we plan mom meet ups, and play dates for our little ones.

You will be added to a private Facebook group where you will get additional accountability as well as fitness and wellness tips. If we are unable to meet due to adverse weather conditions, I will have a virtual live class inside this group.

PATRIOTIC BARRE & KIDS CRAFT

We had such a blast working out to an awesome patriotic playlist and doing a fun craft with the kids!

About Me

Hi I’m Brianna Johnson!

Let me tell you a little about me and how I developed my passion for teaching barre. I was born and raised in Navarro County, TX. I have always had a passion for fitness and wellness since I was a teen girl.

I had given the military some thought in high-school so after a couple years of community college I decided to enlist. After serving my country as a U.S. Marine from 2009-2014, I continued working towards completing my education. I graduated with my B.S. degree in Alternative Medicine, from Everglades University in 2017. At this point I was a mother of two children and I craved community, I also needed something that would help me feel like myself again outside of being a mother. I decided to become a Beachbody coach, where I shared my personal wellness and fitness journey to encourage others.

I was always told workouts must be rigorous and you need to work out for hours to get results, nothing could be further from the truth. After having my third child in May of 2019, I began searching for a workout that would rehabilitate my body and strengthen it. No one tells you the toll pregnancy and childbirth take on a mothers body. Even though I worked out regularly through each of my pregnancies, my body wasn’t what it was and I could feel it.

I needed a workout that was going to be kind to my body, strengthen, improve flexibility and rebuild my core, that’s how I found barre. I tried my first class in January of 2020 and I instantly felt a connection, the workout was fun and went by quickly because I enjoyed it so much. The results were seen and felt within the first week, at this point I knew I needed to bring this to more women around me. I began seeking out a certification, and in August of 2021 I was officially certified as a barre instructor through Barre Guild Academy. Shortly after completing my certification I began teaching classes at the YMCA.

I still desired to create a community of women, empowering and encouraging each other in their wellness journey and that is how the Resolute Barre & Wellness vision came to be.

My passion for this practice continues to grow more and more as I’m constantly learning, changing and growing with it. I love how it keeps me on my toes and allows me to tap into my creativity through class planning and coming up with new choreography that keeps clients challenged, engaged and continuously building strength. I’m grateful to be able to do what I love and can’t wait to welcome you to this community and meet you on your fitness journey.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me spending quality time with, and homeschooling my now four beautiful daughters Mahayla (9), Makyna (6), Emylia (3), and Elayna (1). My wonderful husband and I have been together for 10 years. I enjoy gardening, photography, and sharing my active wear brand Savvi.
