Richard Jamze an award winning filmmaker from Brisbane, Australia.
Richard is a recipient of the Queensland Government Creative Generations Excellence in Arts Award, an invitee to the exclusive invite-only Golden Key International Honours Society, and has had work featured in galleries such as Pinnacles Art Gallery and the Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane.
Richard has Studied under Masters of Cinema such as Lord David Puttnam (Chariots of Fire, The Mission, The Killing Fields), Bruce Beresford (Ladies in Black, Mao’s Last Dancer, Driving Miss Daisy), Priscilla Cameron (The Butterfly Tree), Tim McGahan (Predestination), Angie Fielder (Lion, Wish You Were Here, Crossbow), and Rolf de Heer (Ten Canoes, Bad Boy Bubby, Charlie’s Country).
With hands on, practical experience from running his own production company, working on feature film productions, interning at Screen Queensland, and returning to Guest Lecture at Griffith Film School, Richard has developed a strong knowledge of film production: from initial pre-production through to a film’s final release.
His graduate film, "After She's Gone" has recently launched online. It has found critical success and has received tens of thousands of views.
