About Me
Yessenia Mercedes, MSW, is an alumni from Seton Hall and Fordham University. She worked in the Children and Family field in NJ for about 10 years; from being a Case Manager with Child Protection and Permanency to a School Social Worker for the Board of Education. She recently quit her tenured job to explore and venture on a new career journey.
Yessenia is a wife, new mama to a healthy & beautiful baby boy and an advocate for change. After struggling for about 2 years with infertility and experiencing a loss through an early miscarriage, she has become very passionate about advocating for women and their maternal mental health. Due to her personal experience with ob-gyn, fertility specialist, and an unexpected c-section she wants to be a light in someone else's darkness.
Yessenia has recently become a New Jersey Realtor and is also in the process of completing her Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) certification.
