My Top Picks & Tips

Some of my favorite places to shop for business items.

  1. Amazon Storefront

    Amazon Storefront

Shop everything from supplies, molds, resin, and tools, to pop up needs and storefront items! Everything is conveniently organized into sections to make it easier for you to browse and some are accompanied with tutorial videos! Anything listed are items I either have used or currently use for crafting and or my set ups!

(I do earn a small commission if you purchase any of the items listed in my storefront)

  2. Custom Business cards, displays, stickers, stamps, and more

Custom Business cards, displays, stickers, stamps, and more

I have been using Zazzle since high school and the quality is always great, there are always sales, and they can also expedite your items within a few days if needed. My 10-foot banner, stamp, and earring cards for my store front space are all from here.

You are also able to create your own Zazzle store for free with your designs for sale. This is a great opportunity to earn passive income! Use the link below to get 30% off your first order. ☻

  3. Custom neon sign—but make it affordable

Custom neon sign—but make it affordable

When I put together my crafting space I really wanted to add a finishing touch—for me that was a neon sign! After doing some research, I found NeonArtisans on Etsy.

I love my sign and I enjoyed having it in my craft space for a long time! It is now set up in my storefront space and has lasted now nearly five years through the humidity, heat, and cold!

Also, great customer service during the process and they sent me a mock-up for approval before shipping.

(No commission/not affiliated just a recommendation!)

  4. Custom Banners

    Custom Banners

SUPER fast FREE overnight shipping, high quality, great communication, and a discount for first time buyers! It also comes with grommets at no extra cost and is more affordable (even without a discount) than other competitors.

(No commission/not affiliated just a recommendation!)

  5. Good quality resin—but a great price + $5 off

    Good quality resin—but a great price + $5 off

Finding great quality resin is HARD. This resin costs about half the price of the popular ArtResin brand, but in my opinion has better quality, less bubbles, and is more durable.

I feel that this resin really maintains its clarity over time and most importantly—although all resin gets soft in high heat—it stays durable enough that it doesn’t become “limp” like some other resins do.

Tip: use the right resin for your project! Not all resins work for everything. Always measure by volume not weight. Making small jewelry and keychains? I suggest UV resin or their jewelry making hard-cure resin. Making coasters, figures, trays, etc.? Use casting resin. Making furniture or large pieces? Use deep pour resin. However, this company takes it a step further..they highlight all that information for you, which makes it easy to avoid mistakes! Their resin is also all FDA-compliant.

US-based, so it also has fast and affordable shipping!

$5 off if you use my link!

(I also get $5 off in exchange for you using my code to get your $5 discount!)

(I am actually gradually switching to Ecopoxy now to be more eco-friendly, but will keep this here as I still love this resin!)

  6. Confetti, Cabochons, and mini molds

    Confetti, Cabochons, and mini molds

Great variety and assortment for all your “mini” needs! I love to use these in tumblers, resin shakers, jewelry, and more.

US-based, so it also has fast and affordable shipping!

(No commission/not affiliated just a recommendation)

**photo attached is of my work; popsockets/phone grips that I sell (the confetti in these pieces are from this shop)

  7. Paper Butterflies & Moths

    Paper Butterflies & Moths

Great quality, good selection, and great prices. The paper is very thick and shimmery and comparable to some brands that are 3-4x the cost.

If you are looking for high quality inserts of other insects like bees, dragonflies, beetles, etc. I recommend checking out Moth & Myth too.

Body Representation, Inclusivity, & Expression

Rose & Resin is all about creating one of a kind products that make you feel good about being you. From different styles to representation of different body types—there’s a little bit of everything for everyone to connect with!

While I have a few “staples” that stay in rotation, I am always excited to introduce new ideas. I often create themed items that tailor to market themes, seasons, aesthetics, etc. so you will always be able to find something new!

About Me

Hi! My name is Maleah and I am the owner of Rose & Resin

How It All Started..

During quarantine, I ended up being furloughed from my bartending job and classes moved online, which gave me a TON of free time. I decided to try something new and started working with resin as a hobby. After a few failed projects and learning new techniques, I started making things I was really proud of, so I started sharing photos on Snapchat and Instagram..which eventually led to a few sales and custom orders!

Soon after I learned about resin figurines and thought they would be a great way to channel body representation into my artwork. I now offer 10 different body types and also have 3 full body figurines. While I make many other things, these are close to my heart. I really love hearing others’ stories and perspectives and how it relates to why they decided to own one! I love getting photos of them propped up in gardens, on bookshelves, and everywhere else.

About Me

Hi! I’m Maleah (Muh-Lee-uh)! I am an April Aries and very much love all things related to nature, which has definitely had an influence on my overall style and thematic elements in my work.

I have always loved creating and I'm absolutely the type to “wear all hats”. I’ve tried many many hobbies including playing guitar, painting, drawing, digital art, sewing, making music, writing, and now crafting with resin and working with my Cricut. However, I love drawing and crafting with resin the most!

Rose & Resin started as sort of a passion project which carried me—emotionally and financially—through school. My hope is that Rose & Resin will continue to be a growing part of my life as I continue through grad school and so on. I’m also always looking for ways to do something new and different.

My next goal is to incorporate some of my drawn artwork into more of my pieces and also to continue connecting my work to a central theme.

I also do some freelance work on the side involving graphic design and writing! Shoot me a message if you are a fellow small business looking for help with anything. I’d be happy to help at a discounted affordable price! I know it’s difficult.
