As a young man during a chapel service with a missionary from Africa, Mike felt the tug of his heart that one day he would have the opportunity to work in Africa. Years passed and life went on. Mike continued to work in the church not forgetting the call God had put on his life. In 2005 the door was opened for Mike to go to Africa for the first time. After several trips with his wife, Jana had the desire to start a Missions outreach from their home church, Riverdale Assembly of God. In 2018 the idea for Ambassadors Reaching for Christ (ARC) was born. In July of 2019 the ARC team took their first trip to Moshi, Tanzania.
