Stolen or Saved

Book Description:
""You're right, I am a blasphemous pirate. Which means I am not above bending you over my knee for refusing me."
"You-you wouldn't."
"Oh, I think you know I would, lass. And I think you know I would thoroughly enjoy it. What say you? Want to try my patience today?"
Gwendalyn Porter is the wife of the town's harbormaster. Her husband, a cruel drunk, was never one to give much love or affection. A quiet and docile lady, Gwendalyn resigns herself to her fate but never stops looking for bits of joy wherever she can find them. A typical morning finds her at the docks, putting her in the direct path of a pirate captain disguised as a common sailor.
Lydia 'Redwater' is that pirate captain. Domineering, sarcastic, and more than a little arrogant, this woman has made a name for herself and her ship across the seas. Her life is filled with adventure and pleasure, which she couldn't be more content with. A drunken miscalculation brings her ship into port that fateful morning, but it is her intrigue with the quiet Gwendalyn that convinces her to take the girl from her home, and her husband.
After their paths cross, the women encounter challenges seemingly left and right. A scorned husband out for revenge, less-than-friendly quartermaster, past rival, bounty hunter, and the women's own stubbornness create more drama than either woman could have expected. With new friendships and an endless supply of rum, Gwendalyn begins to adapt to her new life on a pirate ship. A complicated relationship with its Captain, however, forces her to come face to face with the question: Was she truly stolen, or has she finally been saved?"
