I'm a homeschooling mama to 5, married to my high school sweetheart, and if you don't find me sipping on a good cup of coffee, you'll probably find me on a hiking trail. I'm a California-native turned Texan, and outdoors in nature is still one of my favorite places to be - even with the Houston humidity. 😏

My desire to support women in their birth choices came from my traumatic birth experience with my son. I remember sitting in the hospital after he was born, thinking to myself that I would never do this again. Did birth really have to be this way? I started researching, and when I got pregnant with my second baby only 7 months later, my husband and I decided that we would have a home birth. It was a beautiful, healing experience, and I went on to have 3 more babies at home. I learned to believe in my body's ability to do what it was made to do: bring life into this world.
The birthing space has always been sacred to me, hence the name Sacred Birth Doula. My hope is to come alongside a mother as a sister and friend, supporting her as she makes the holy journey into motherhood.
