About Sakhi

Sakhi has served immigrant survivors of gender-based violence in New York City since 1989.

We exist to represent the South Asian diaspora in a survivor-led movement for gender justice.

We are committed to serving survivors of all genders through a combination of direct services, technical assistance, advocacy and organizing, and community outreach.
