This was a highly requested blog post that was long overdue! I have been traveling and learning photography since I bought my first camera back in 2017!

While I definitely don’t think that expensive camera gear will guarantee you great photos & skill, it does take your photos to the next level after you’ve learned more about photography.

Photography Gear

For me, I started out with a very inexpensive, entry level camera - a Gopro. I spent years shooting solely adventure travel and underwater activities.

Once I bought my first DSLR camera, I start learning how to use it. At the end of the day, getting an expensive professional-level camera that you don’t know how to use will just get you the same results as an inexpensive entry level one.
