For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a mumma.
I just knew I would be the gentle, calm, nurturing, conscious parent.
Yep, that would be me.

And it was....until it wasn't.
Until I was triggered over and over again.
The strong will of my child, the never ending noisy play, the constant sound of "Mum, I'm hungry" The list goes on.
And suddenly I found it hard to keep being that dream parent 24/7.
Cue to guilt cycle that follows.
