My goal as a hairstylist is to be as open and honest with my clients as I can, and that includes when you’re in my chair or when you’re reading about me. I want to grow a connection with my clients, and the first step to us being hair besties is you learning about me!

So, where do I begin? I’ve loved doing hair since I was a little girl. My mom would get so mad at me when I would braid my American girl doll’s hair or give my Barbies a little trim. When I was older, I somehow convinced the neighborhood kids to let me cut their hair with the kitchen scissors (a big no-no) and I became obsessed with watching all the stylists at the salon I went to.

Fast forward a few years. I had always been expected to go to college, so going to cosmetology school was never an option. After switching between several majors and spending way too much time trying to figure out my path, I decided to research cosmetology schools. Once I visited the first school, I knew I was making the right decision.

From there I enrolled, worked full time during the day, and went to school at night. After I graduated, I started working at a high end salon and spent time learning and educating myself while growing my clientele. Now, you can find me at Studio Knox where I am a booth renting stylist running my own business and I love it!

Enough about my background—now for the fun stuff! I was born and raised in Knoxville. I’m an only child and 100% was spoiled growing up (thanks, mom and dad!). I love to travel and am addicted to all things true crime. My Friday nights consist of me snuggling my kitty, Frankie (against her will), eating strawberry Krispy Kreme donuts, and watching 20/20. I’m an INFJ, Capricorn, Ennegram 7, right brained, and type B personality. Whew! That was a lot. I have a boyfriend who is a paramedic and obsessed with fire trucks and Ghostbusters. He also came with my favorite gal pal, his thirteen
year old daughter. Needless to say, girls rule the roost at home.
