Hi guys,

I am 31 years old, currently a stay at home mom and 8 months postpartum.

I found out I was pregnant with my son the same month I graduated from a Medical Aesthetics program in Toronto Ontario. Since then my life has changed - for the better!

Although I have not been able to start my new trade in the field of Medical Aesthetics, I kept my skills up by practising microdermabrasion and facials for friends and family in my home.

Since having my amazing little boy I have found myself in a deep struggle to no longer be in the workforce as it was such a part of who I was before. Working as a server/bartender for the last decade I found my work extremely motivating and exciting to know I was going into a busy Friday or Saturday shift with uncapped earning potential. I missed working so much that I made what I felt was a healthy decision to work part time when my son was 4 months old and it gave me the mental break that I needed from being home so much. However, having a partner who works a high demand trade as a welder we could not manage the unpredictable hours with me working even part time.

Still having that need to be earning in addition to being a mom I recently decided to go back to some part time work doing film and television background work for Toronto Film Extras. I can accept or decline as much work as I want to fit the schedule of my family.

Last but not least I was approached by an old friend and colleague who I’ve given treatments to in the past - who is working for a very reputable, vegan, plant based, non-toxic skin and hair care line called MONAT. After sampling some products I decided to join in on the opportunities MONAT offers. Earning potential on my own schedule and heavily discounted products. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I love skincare and wellness products.

Until I go back to work in March, which has been made possible for us with the help of my father joining our household to provide childcare for my son, I will continue to partake in any opportunity I have to self educate, have fun and make money at the same time.
