New to Dallas? Or just looking for the next place to get that perfect Instagram 📸? Read on ahead to get the perfect locations for the best photos! Best part? These places are all free to go! Look for a ✅ if the place also has free parking as well!
Spot #1 : AT&T Discovery District
A new upcoming hot spot in DFW is the AT&T Discovery District located on 208 S Akard St. Its a gorgeous area featuring restaurant Jaxon in one corner and another corner featuring a bright display screen attached to the AT&T activity store! I highly advise visiting this place during the day and night in order to fully appreciate all it has to offer!

Spot #2 : Watters Creek
Watters Creek is a quite beautiful outdoor shopping complex that is littered with little hidden photo ops! An adorable mural is printed next to the restaurant Village burger of a 🦚 peacock. A quirky message next to the Paciugo Gelato shop will be sure to make anyone chuckle and want to stop by for a cute snap.

Spot #3 : Legacy West
Another outdoor shopping center but located in West Plano, this location is home to constantly changing murals and other temporary photo pop ups that change with the seasons! It’s also home to a ton of gorgeous restaurants as well as the massive Legacy Food Hall so there is plenty of aesthetic spots to pick from.

Spot #4 : Arbor Hills Nature Preserve
Arbor hills park is another Dallas location however this time it’s a park! This park is enormous! There’s plenty of space to walk around and not run into anyone else which is great for uninterrupted shooting.
✅ but parking is limited depending on how busy the park is that day!
Spot #5 : Deep Ellum
Deep Ellum is the last spot on the list of free places to take photos in Dallas but not least by any means! Its one of the most colorful as vibrant areas full of murals and colorful store fronts set up just for pictures 👌🏽 Walking around and exploring is part of the fun when taking pictures in this area as the scene is constantly changing and updating!
Spot #6 : Brockdale Park
This beautiful boat park is a secret gem hidden in the depths of Lucas, Texas. It’s on the less glamorous side but makes up for it with its glorious view of the Lake Lavon waters! Definitely worth checking out, especially if you’ve got a boat 🚣♂️
