Not only do we list items in our boutique but we also have a consignment component as well! If you have items that you’re looking to sell but don’t have the time to list and manage, we will do the work for you. Please note there is no guarantee for sales, whether length of time or amount received. Second Look cannot guarantee you a market resell price, or a sale offer. Customer knows that with designer items they may receive less than they originally paid for - we do not believe in taking low-ball offers though and will only settle for the highest possible value.

Here’s how it works: STORE CONSIGNMENT

Choose items you no longer want in your wardrobe that are gently used or in barely worn condition. We do list home-wares and furniture in the shop as well - but all items need to be reviewed in advance. (if you have pictures you’d like to send before dropping off that would be great and we can tell you upfront if we can take or not!)

Drop off the items that you’re interested in selling (Drop off only - Sarah is unable to pick up, even if you have a large amount - address will be provided for drop off). We will review everything and choose the best items we think our customers will be interested in and will sell quickly. Any items we do not take will be left back on the porch of the drop-off location for customer to retrieve. Customer must retrieve the same week. This is discussed at time of consignment.

Items are priced by Sarah. By consigning with Second Look you give us the opportunity to price items as we see fit. We stand by a bargain price as our stamp for our brand.

Once items have been assessed they’ll be uploaded in the order received behind other customers. Customer will receive payout per item as the sale occurs via Venmo or agreed upon method. Venmo is most preferred and is a free private app with no fees, or PayPal/Zelle/Cash App. Second Look does not do payouts in form or cash or check - only via these methods.

Items are primarily sold in the Second Look Instagram shop at @seclookshop. Higher-end items may also listed on selling platforms such as Poshmark. We are currently working on a website for fuller access.

Items that we do not take: you can either choose to have them returned to you (see above for details) or donated to Goodwill. You need to notify us up front what your preference is. We will bring them for you if you choose that option! Items that are not chosen need to be picked up within one week’s time of drop off - customer needs to complete pick up. **pictures in advance are highly encouraged and appreciated so you know what not to bring**

Items that sell: Any item that is listed and sells will be revenue back to you, minus the 50% commission that Second Look takes (which covers listing, selling, holding items, logistics, shipping, etc). Half to Second Look, half to the consignee (most consignment shops take 60/40 or even 70/30) - updated 7/1/21. We transfer the sum to your account via the method agreed upon and mentioned above after all items have sold or the timeline has been met. Second Look reserves the right to sell the item as they see fit and at the sale price it drops too if it hasn’t sold in some time.

Items that DON’T sell: We will list your items and Income will only come for items that sell. If after time we choose to remove the items you can agree to have them back or donated

Items that are dated, shown signs of wear, stains, rips/tears, pet hair
Items that require a lot of pilling/shaving/cleaning
Items that are not in style now or on trend unless they’re specialty (inquire for details)
