Finding JOY in the Journey Together!
I’m hope My Journey will help bring new JOYs for your child/teenagers. I am here to help get that JOY back for you and your child on their Special Education journey as well as Section 504 journey.
Learning to read and write was extremely difficult for me in school, I was one of ‘those kids’ that was pulled out to ‘that room’ because I was able to read and write. I was in Special Education/Resource Classroom until the 8th grade.
Fast forward to college, I was ashamed and embarrassed that I didn’t know how to read or write very well. College was very hard but I did receive a teaching degree. Then a few years later, I graduated with a Master in Special Education. I have taught 24 years in Special Education classrooms.
The JOY in their journey is unknown at this time and would love to help find a way together.
