Assist management with clerical duties and support functions.
Understand all services and appointment types.
Effectively make and adjust patient appointments for an optimal schedule.
Knowledge in EXPRESS PM and EMR computer systems and perform system entry with minimal error.
Maintain reception workstation in a neat and organized manner; confidential documents must be safe guarded and out of public view.
Act as a liaison for the patients and Shaze Medical Group.
Understanding when to escalate calls to physicians/business manager.
Using printer effectively for scanning the patient's documents into EMR, and faxing.
Taking and noting messages properly.
Collecting and posting co-pays and other fees required prior and after office visit or treatment.
Verify Insurance coverage and assist the billing department with processing claims.
Processing doctor’s orders and scheduling radiological, laboratory and specialists, etc. appointments using diagnosis codes and NPI#.
Getting prior authorizations from insurance companies for prescriptions.
