TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking an event with Shaken & Stirred Mobile Bartenders shall be deemed to be an acknowledgment and acceptance of our terms and conditions.

A valid booking form and deposit are required to book an event with S&S. If either is not received, S&S reserves the right to release the date of the event.

BOOKINGS AND CANCELATIONS

The booking deposit is strictly non-refundable. 

A booking deposit of 50% of the total booking fee is required to secure the booking date.

The balance of the booking is due 30 days prior to the event.

If the Booking is made with less than 30 days notice the full amount is due.

If the client cancels an event within 10 days of the event date, the full balance of the event is due.

If full payment is not received by the event date, we will be unable to provide our services and any deposits pre-paid will be non-refundable.

TRAVEL AND DELIVERY COSTS

Travel costs do apply to every event; please discuss with S&S staff the amount.

These costs will be specifically mentioned in the quote. Should the event be relocated after booking the travel cost may increase.

PARKING

S&S requires a parking space to be arranged for one stock vehicle, for the duration of the clients event. If you cannot provide a parking space close to the event location there will be a $25 parking fee charged prior to your event.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

S&S is committed to the responsible service of alcohol. It is illegal to serve alcohol to a person who is intoxicated or a person who may attempt to drive a vehicle. S&S reserves the right to refuse service to any such person.It is illegal to serve alcohol to a person who is under the age of eighteen. S&S reserves the right to request valid age identification and to refuse service to a person who does not comply. In abiding by RSA, S&S will not serve shooters or double spirits unless previously agreed.

SAFETY, VIOLENCE AND THEFT

S&S staff reserve the right to take all stock and equipment and leave an event at any time, if they believe there is a possibility of theft, violence or any other threat to their safety or the safety of S&S stock and equipment. If this occurs, no payment or deposit is refundable. 

POST EVENT EXPENSES

A client will always be notified if an expense is to be paid from the bond. A bond will only ever be used to pay a valid post event expense. Post event expenses include, but are not limited to, lost/broken glassware, additional services, additional guests & broken equipment.

COMPLETE SERVICE

Shaken & Stirred Mobile Bartenders do not supply alcohol. We can assist in what alcohol and quantities to supply but it is the responsibility of the client to supply any alcohol requirements. 

When providing the Complete Cocktail Service (where Shaken & Stirred Mobile Bartenders supplies mobile bar, staffing, consumables, glassware, ice, delivery), we estimate for a reasonable number of drinks per person. If the client supplies incorrect information relating to the number of guests, our estimations will be incorrect and this can jeopardise the longevity of drink supplies. We do not provide an unlimited amount of drinks when supplying this service. Any stock remaining at the specified end time will be taken back by S&S. Any additional time requested will be calculated after the event and invoiced accordingly to the client.

MOBILE BARS

When hiring our mobile bar or purchasing the Complete Cocktail Service when a bar is supplied, a reasonable amount may be billed to the client in respect of any damage to the bar, other than reasonable wear and tear, which is shown to have been caused by guests of the client upon inspection of the damage to the bar. If the client requests the bar to be left overnight at the event, we require a deposit as well as next day collection charge.

The client is responsible for providing an appropriate power source within reasonable locality of the required positioning. We will provide an extension cord of no greater than ten meters. All due care is taken not to stain or damage any flooring under the bar area however it is the clients responsibility to choose an appropriate location for the mobile bar.

We do aim to provide our bars in a perfect state, however with working events general wear and tear, light scratches and marks may appear on your hired bar.

GLASSWARE

All glassware is audited after the event and the client will be charged  $7 for each broken or lost glass.

If S&S collects glassware after the event, we will need to charge a collection fee.

We are not an after party cleaning service and as such we require all glassware be returned clean and within the provided storage containers. It is advisable to make note of glassware numbers at this point to ensure that you are billed correctly after the event for any lost or broken glassware.

RATES

Rates and invoices are subject to change dependent on the clients requirements, additional hours and stock. Shaken & Stirred Mobile Bartenders will give reasonable notice to the client of changes to rates and invoices and rates and invoices set out in the quote provided to the client shall not change. Any additional hours not previously discussed will be charged at the full hourly rate, regardless of discounts applied at time of booking.

For events that fall on public holidays surcharges will apply.

INSURANCE

Shaken & Stirred Mobile Bartenders is covered with public liability insurance for all events.

Insurance via: Allianz

Public Liability: $10,000

Copies of our latest insurance documents are available upon request.

ADDITIONAL

Shaken & Stirred Mobile Bartenders shall not be liable for any delay, loss or cancellation of services arising from contingencies beyond their control e.g. storm, accident caused road closure, flooding, ‘act of God’ etc, however if Shaken & Stirred Mobile Bartenders is at fault a full refund will be issued. Although we do aim to provide a highly professional and entertaining service, S&S is not responsible for the success or non-success of an event.

We ask that the client thoroughly checks through the invoice and booking form to ensure that the venue address, mobile contact, times and dates are correct.

We cannot be held accountable if our bartenders are late and cannot contact the client to confirm. Likewise we provide you with an out of office contact in case of the above.

When hiring a service that serves alcohol, you must be 18+ years of age to book this service.

The above conditions are subject to change at the discretion of Shaken & Stirred Mobile Bartenders in part or in whole for one or more of its clients where the business has grounds deemed necessary.
