As a former hot mess, relationally, emotionally and spiritually broken, I needed all the Jesus I could get just to make it through a normal day. Thankfully, all our Father needs is a willing heart, and time. He's in no hurry ... My former 11-year-old self whose plan for sanctification was to wait to accept Christ until I'd done something bad, and then basically *never ever* sin again (ask me how well that one worked out!) wouldn't even recognize the me of today, and all the credit goes to God the Father, Son and Spirit.
