Cath is a LFC fan who made the decision to dip into the world of women’s football after she cut alcohol out of her life. Looking for fun ways to spend her time, she bought a season ticket for Liverpool FC Women and now rarely misses a game, home or away.

The environment at the matches has helped her stay alcohol free and also improve her mental health. A heady mixture of escapism but also feeling very present, Cath has decided to seek out more games to attend in 2025.

This year Cath is aiming for 50 matches and hoping that it brings her to many new stadiums, and even some new countries. She hopes to fund the majority of her activity by selling things she no longer needs on Vinted.

Cath is linking her rekindled passion for football with the enduring love of her life, music. Each game will be soundtracked by a song that she’s currently listening to on repeat, building a playlist as she goes. By the end of the year, she will have compiled a journey to look back on that not only celebrates women in football, but music, too.
