Shhh My Darling is an Italian illustration studio that specializes in custom enquiries for wedding & events, and -occasionally- branding projects. Our signature style features fresh colorful hand-painted views of  Italian Heritage with an echo of the "Dolce Vita" lifestyle in a modern twist.

We take on no more than 4- 5 wedding stationery projects a year, and we're now open to projects to schedule from May onwards, with an estimated delivery of the invites in late June/early July.

The story behind SMD

Jenny and Gra are a creative husband-wife team fueling Shhh My Darling since this adventure begun. They fell in love thanks to art, as they met in a cartoon studio, where they worked as character designer, background artist and storyboarder. As freelancers, for ten years they have worked for illustration and graphic agencies, fashion brands and adv agencies.
They share their passion for art and illustration, and are compulsive buyers of vintage stuff and antiques from around the world.
They’re definitely in need of a bigger place to stay…

Shhh My Darling started in 2012 as a personal blog - that was the blog era - about our works and personal projects. We still wonder how this happened, but at a point this funny and creative space turned into a real job and by that time we were already grown fond of that silly name (Shhh My Darling) to change it into something more professional. Ok, marketing has never really been our thing…
