In late 2016 I became extremely physically & mentally ill due to toxic mold exposure. Unbeknownst to me the condo I was living in was riddled with it and being that I am a business owner I worked from home so I was breathing it in 24/7. It seemed like with every passing week came a new symptom and I was left confused and worried as to what was happening to my body and my mind. I had symptoms all over the map from vertigo, to rashes...to migraines, nausea, fatigue, blurred vision, brain fog, chronic sinusitis, jaw pain, tinnitus, swollen lymph nodes, hives, hair loss, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, heart palpitations, intentional tremors, muscle aches and even developed a stutter, a nodule on my thyroid & intolerances to heat, sun, humidity & exercise. Traditional doctors had now clue how to help me and offered little to no guidance (or even compassion for that matter) as to what I could do to rid myself of the mold/decrease the severity of my symptoms. So, I became my own advocate (as many of us have to do in this day and age unfortunately 🙄). I did as much research as my symptoms would allow me to do each day and spoke to a few holistic doctors to get their opinions since they seemed to be the only doctors who understood the damage toxic mold could do to someone’s body and mind. Slowly, but surely I began learning about all of the hidden toxins in everything from our food to our bath & beauty products. It’s insane how lax the safety standards are in the US and what they allow companies to put in the products we ingest and slather all over our skin. 😤

It’s taken me a good 2-3 years to compare and contrast and land on what works vs what doesn’t in the clean beauty empire so please allow me to save you the trouble of having to go through a similar painstaking process in order to “clean up” your cabinet. 💁🏻‍♀️ It’ll consume much less of your time and be MUCH less expensive for you this way.👌🏼 lol
