Hi, I’m Anita.

I started my silverhairloveaffair account when I decided to stop dyeing my hair with toxic hair dye chemicals and I was tired of spending a lot of money on hair coloring appointments every 6 weeks. I found a group of supportive women #silversisters on Instagram who helped me get through the transition to gray “silver” hair.

Now I am encouraging and supporting other women who are going through their own gray hair transition. I am also passionate about sharing health, fitness, style, beauty products, and aging well!

ANITA @silverhairloveaffair Tell us a bit about yourself and your family! My name is Anita, I’m 58, a Christian, and I live in Florida. I have five Children, seven Grandchildren, and have been married to my Husband for 39 years. Over the course of my life I have been a Homemaker, Educator, and an Entrepreneur . What is the best thing about motherhood? Seeing my Children flourish as kind, caring, respectful, and independent adults is one of the best things about motherhood. How do you balance being a creator/your work life and having a family? Family has always come first, and when I find some free time I dedicate it to creating on Instagram. How do you relieve yourself from stress? Any particular routine you do? I try to find a quiet place to decompress. A warm bath and a scented candle are always calming to me. What’s your must-have self-care product? If I had to choose one thing it would be EOS Lip Balm, I use it morning and night and it always keeps my lips soft and smooth. What is something you’ve always wished to receive on Mother’s Day? Just spending the day with my Children is the best gift.
